I founded the British Centre of Dental Phobia after having treated thousands of nervous patients over the last 18 years. During this time I have realised that the most rewarding aspects of dental care are helping nervous patients regain good standards of oral health and overcome their fear to regain self-esteem and confidence. My aim is to try and understand what your fears are and help to find a solution to any problems that you may be experiencing.
Many of my dentist colleagues refer their anxious patients to me due to my reputation experience in this area of dentistry. I am proud to be one of a handful of dentists in the UK to be selected as an expert panel member for the UKs leading website for dental phobics. Here I help patients every day towards making that first step in overcoming their initial fears.
Treatment options for nervous patients may range from simple relaxation techniques to using sedation, which I have been practicing for over 18 years. I am an active member of the Society for Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry. I offer both oral and intravenous sedation and I have treated many thousands of patients with sedation over the years. The clinic is fully equipped with the latest technology to assure pain-free treatment and regulated by the CQC to ensure patient safety.
The team that I have built is dedicated to making sure that your journey will be a relaxed one. The start of your journey is picking up the phone to have an informal chat with our patient care coordinator (a non dentist who you can talk to about your problems initially).
Outside of dentistry I enjoy spending time with my wife and children.
